Son of God

There is a famous Hebrew song called “Shomer Israel” which means “Guardian of Israel” 🇮🇱

The song cries out to God to protect Israel and that He would not let us perish, especially those doing the work of the Lord, who cry out “Shema Israel!” Which means “Hear O Israel!” It implies that these are people who are called by God to tell Israel the truth and direct Israel so we can be saved!  Many in Israel think our battle is with Hamas and others like them, but God is saying to us now, “Our war is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual dark forces behind them.” This is who we need to be saved from, satan and his evil demonic spirits, who want to steal, kill and destroy all humanity and cause us to hate each other. 

I remembered Moses, who was the first Prophet God gave to Israel to save us. He is the one who gave us these words given to Him by God:

“Hear, O Israel: Adonai is our God, Adonai in One! Blessed is God’s name; His glorious kingdom is for ever and ever! And you shall love Adonai your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.” – Shema 

An overwhelming feeling of love, passion, and urgency came over me. I felt Adonai saying to me by His Spirit: “Tell them about My Son! Tell them about My Son!” For centuries, Israel has been waiting for the Mashiach, but the truth is that He already came to us 2,000 years ago as a Man named Yeshua, whom we call Jesus. This aligns with the scriptures that tell us the Messiah would be 1. God Himself (Mighty God, Everlasting Father) who would come to Israel as a Man, 2. Son of Man (Unto Us a Child is born), 3. Son of David (Only a Son of David can be Israel’s true King), and 4. our High Priest/Kohen Gadol (Counselor):

“For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” – Isaiah 9:6-7 NKJV

Yeshua means “Salvation” in Hebrew; He is a Jew, and He is one of us. He fulfilled the prophecies of dying for the sins of Israel and the world and resurrecting to eternal life, giving whosoever would believe in Him forgiveness of sins and eternal life also! He also gives us authority over satan and his demons:

“Behold I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means harm you.” – Luke 10:19

He gives us a new heart to forgive and love our enemies, and bring them into the Kingdom of God, too. This is what God wants for Israel and all nations, for us to receive Yeshua and His sacrifice, God’s Spirit in our hearts, a new Spirit, and to be free from sin, satan, and death. Yeshua is the Son of David and Son of God, He gave His life for our sins 2,000 years ago, was resurrected, and is still ruling and reigning the universe, desiring for us to receive Him and His salvation. 

This salvation brings you into a powerful, personal relationship with God by His Spirit and entrance into Heaven now, not when you die. If you don’t receive Yeshua now, you won’t be able to enter Heaven because He is our Redeemer (Goel), He paid the price for us with His own life, so we must receive Him to be with God forever. Read these scriptures and pray, ask God to reveal the truth to you with all your heart and He will! He wants to! He went to great lengths to bring this about for you, all you need to do is seek and ask Him.

Isaiah 53: 5-6

⁵ But he was pierced for our transgressions,
    he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
    and by his wounds we are healed.
⁶ We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
    each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
    the iniquity of us all.

John 3:16

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
